Purchase
Shopping with us is easy. Just click on the item or items you want and they will be added to your shopping cart. You can go to the shopping cart at any time to check its contents or to complete your purchase. All orders are binding. If the buyer is under 18 years of age, parental consent must be obtained by the buyer before the purchase is completed. You will receive an automatic order confirmation when you place your order.
Goods
By Lelou has tried to describe all goods as accurately as possible but cannot guarantee that the color shades in the pictures exactly match reality, minor deviations may occur. Handmade goods may vary slightly in appearance as they are handmade. By Lelou reserves the right that goods may be sold out.
Payment
Payment is made by card via Shopify Payments. You can also choose to pay manually via Swish.
All transactions are encrypted and secure. Your credit card is never saved!

Prices
All prices are stated in Swedish Kronor including 25% VAT. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time without prior notice and reserve the right for any incorrect prices.
Deliveries
Your order is normally dispatched from us within 3 working days. If the item is temporarily out of stock or is a special order item, the delivery time will be longer.
Shipping cost is SEK 49 within Sweden. For orders over SEK 700, we offer free shipping.
Shipping cost within Europe SEK 89.
Your goods will be delivered as a letter or package depending on size and weight.
We care about the environment and therefore do not include any paper order confirmation in the package. We reuse packaging and packing materials as far as we can, or use environmentally friendly materials.
All deliveries are made via Postnord. If you wish delivery by other means, please contact us at info@bylelou.se
Right of withdrawal
As a private customer, you always have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days. The item must be returned in unused condition and include all tags and packaging. Always contact By Lelou at info@bylelou.se before returning the item. You, as the customer, are responsible for the shipping cost. The full amount excluding shipping will be deposited into your account within 10 days after we have received the item.
Complaint
Should the item be damaged or missing in any way when you receive your package, By Lelou will cover the return shipping cost and we will replace it with a new item or issue a refund. If the package is visibly damaged when you receive it, this must be reported directly to the carrier. Document the damage and contact us within 7 days at info@bylelou.se so that we can handle the complaint.
Right of exchange
You can exchange an unused item if you contact us within 20 days of receiving the package at info@bylelou.se. You, as the customer, are responsible for the shipping costs. Sale items cannot be exchanged.
Unclaimed packages
If a package is not collected and is returned to us, we will charge a fee of SEK 250 to cover return shipping and administrative costs. It is the customer's responsibility to provide the correct address and contact information.
Information about cookies
According to the Electronic Communications Act, visitors to a website must, for privacy reasons, be informed that cookies are used. The information in the cookie can be used to track a user's browsing. A cookie is a small text file that the website you visit requests to save on your computer to provide access to various functions. It is possible to set your browser to automatically deny cookies. The personal data you provide us will not be forwarded, sold, exchanged or shared with other companies, organizations or private individuals without your consent. Our sole purpose of collecting and storing data is to enable us to provide you with optimal service.

By shopping at By Lelou, you accept our data protection policy and our processing of your personal data. We value your personal integrity and do not collect more data than necessary to process your order. We never sell or share your data with third parties without a legal basis.
By Lelou is responsible for the processing of personal data that you have provided to us as a customer. Your personal data is processed by us to manage your order and in cases where you have requested newsletters or promotional offers - to adapt marketing to your individual needs.
The information below is a summary of how we store and process your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (
1. What is personal data?
Personal data is any information that can directly or indirectly be attributed to a physical person.
2. What data do we store?
To manage your order and answer questions related to your order (customer service), we store your first name and last name, address, phone number, email address, IP address, and purchase history.
Your data is stored as long as we have a legal basis to process your data, for example, to fulfill the agreement between us or to comply with a legal obligation under, for example, the Accounting Act.
3. Legal basis
In connection with a purchase, your personal data is processed to fulfill the agreement with you.
Marketing, campaigns, and similar mailings are made with your consent.
4. What data is shared and for what purpose?
4.1 Payment provider
When making a purchase, information is shared with our payment provider. What is stored is first name, last name, address, email address, and phone number. The information is saved to enable the purchase and to protect the parties against fraud.
The payment providers (payment services) we use are: Stripe and PayPal.
4.2 Shipping company
To deliver your orders and fulfill our agreement, we must share specific information with the shipping company. What is shared with the shipping company is first name, last name, and address details for delivery. Email address and/or mobile number may also be shared with the shipping company for notification.
The shipping companies we cooperate with are: Posten.
4.3 Newsletter
If you have chosen to subscribe to our newsletter, your first name, last name, and email address are shared with our newsletter provider. This is to keep you updated with information and offers for marketing purposes.
We use Mailchimp for sending newsletters.
The data stored is:
- Email address and first name.
Saved as long as the customer wishes. An unsubscribe link is always available in the mailings.
5. Right of access
You have the right to receive an extract of all information we have about you. The extract is delivered electronically in a readable format.
6. Right to rectification
You have the right to ask us to update incorrect information or complete incomplete information.
7. Right to be forgotten
You can at any time request that your data be deleted. There are few exceptions to the right to erasure, such as if it must be retained because we have to comply with a legal obligation (for example, under the Accounting Act).
8. Data protection officer
By Lelou is responsible for the storage and processing of personal data in the webshop and ensures that the rules are followed.
How we protect your personal data
We use industry standards such as SSL/TLS and one-way hash algorithms to securely store, process, and communicate sensitive information such as personal data and passwords.
