Since we don't yet have a washing machine in our apartment, we have so far chosen to use disposable diapers for our little one. It feels far too cumbersome to book laundry times and run back and forth to the laundry room several times a week while I also have to take care of both baby, home, and business, unfortunately.
Both for environmental reasons and for his sensitive baby bottom, we have chosen to buy organic diapers from the Swedish company Naty for him (purchased at Ekostore in Gothenburg). They have worked so incredibly well! They are surprisingly leak-proof, and so far, we've barely experienced any red baby bottom at all. It feels like they breathe well, contain no strange lotions (which I understand some diapers do), and are made from FSC-certified cellulose and GMO-free corn film, in other words, no oil-based plastic!
If we've seen any red tendencies under the diaper, we've immediately applied Mamma-Baby-Barn ointment from Tigerflicka, and by the next change, it's been gone. The ointment contains nothing strange, just shea butter, jojoba oil, beeswax, olive oil, canola oil, and sesame oil. All organic.

For changes at home, we use terry cloth wipes that I cut from old worn towels into pieces about 30x30 cm and then overlocked (zigzag stitching also works well) around the edges to prevent fraying. I also have a bunch of wipes from the store in soft, organic cotton terry that we treat ourselves to sometimes. We have a small glass spray bottle standing on the changing table filled with water and a splash of Baby Allround baby oil (organic sesame oil, canola oil, and olive oil) from Tigerflicka that we moisten the wipes with during changes; afterwards, they are thrown into the laundry.

When we're out and about, we use Natracare or Beaming Baby's organic wet wipes. Beaming Baby's are the favorite because they are fragrance-free, but both work perfectly fine. Which one we buy depends on which store we are in at the moment: Ekostore, Fram by Järntorget, or Bara Bra Mat by Olskrokstorget.
Diaper changes are made easier by Tage being completely enchanted by the hot air balloon mobile above the changing table.

Hej Maria!
Stor skillnad i pris?
